Overview

Add a small stand-off for electrical box installs where you need just a bit more clearance behind the doorbell. This 0.5” spacer mount by Hidden River Lab is designed for the Ring Video Doorbell Elite (1st Gen) (discontinued model).

This 0.5” spacer is intended as an add-on stand-off for electrical box installations — to extend the doorbell outward by 0.5” when the base install already provides enough depth for the PoE block.

→ This 0.5” spacer is not intended to house the Elite body by itself — it’s used to extend the doorbell outward when you already have sufficient depth behind it.

Installation Notes

Basic tools required (e.g., screwdriver).

▪︎ Verify your install already provides enough depth for the Elite (commonly 1.5” minimum), and use this part only if you need an additional 0.5” stand-off.

▪︎ Mount the spacer to your surface/electrical box setup using the included screws (anchors may be needed depending on surface).

▪︎ Route wiring neatly and weather-seal as appropriate.

▪︎ Mount the doorbell per Ring’s instructions.
